Updates From Dave

30 years ago I started building doors and storm windows for Solar/ Marcla company.  Then, the primarily residential products, were manufactured using the same high quality galvannealed steel material we use today.  Eventually we became a supplier for Public and Family Housing Authorities, as well as Military Family Housing across the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.  Over my 30 years in the industry, I have watched many door and security screen manufacturers close their doors, or move away from the Housing Authority market.  Today, Lansing is still here building storm and screen doors using galvanealed steel doors frames.  Lansing doors have always been built to withstand the issues related to the family housing markets, we continuously work on materials and manufacturing processes to improve our products so they will serve our customers longer.

To our product line, we have added aluminum products along with some new steel products.  As with our steel products, our new aluminum products are engineered and built to last.

I routinely see replacement projects that we supplied products for 12 – 15 years ago; just this week I am working on one that we supplied doors for in 2003.  Our doors will give you considerable years of service, compared to the box store doors that may last 5 years.  And when you specify Lansing, you have the pride of providing a door built by a U.S. company that has stood the test of time of this industry.

Look forward to working with you in 2021!
